Health, Hygiene and Safety... Please read the following conditions to ensure your suitability for henna art. Allergies: If you have a nut allergy it is recommended that you do not apply henna as Henna Heaven cannot guarantee that the products sourced and ingredients used have not been in contact with nuts. PLEASE NOTE: Henna Heaven strives to maintain all safety standards within its limit. However, Henna Heaven is NOT responsible for any allergic reactions caused to its clients for use of its products and other 3rd party products. Skin Conditions: If you are prone to any form of skin condition such as Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, acne, open wounds or general broken or sensitive skin then henna is not recommended for you at this time. Henna Heaven suggests you take a skin test 24 hours before full application, using the exact ingredients that will be used by henna heaven. For a list of ingredients see the section Henna Ingredients. A skin test appointment can be arranged prior to an event booking. Pregnancy: Henna is 100% natural and is therefore suitable for pregnant women. However, it is advisable that you ask your henna artist about additional ingredients that may have been added to the mix as some essential oils may not be suitable. Henna Heaven uses a specific mix of Lavender oil within it's henna paste specifically for pregnant women. Henna Heaven will not administer any henna during the first 3 month gestation period. Children: Henna Heaven will only administer henna for children over 5 years of age. If the child is 13 years or under, a consenting adult must be present during the henna application. REMEMBER: HENNA STAINS! This may sound obvious, but the henna will stay on your skin from one to three weeks, and varies from person to person. The stain will darken over the first 48 hours and after a few days it will start to fade. Please bear this in mind regarding employment and/or appropriateness. Henna is a natural dye and will stain any clothing, textiles or furniture it is in contact with.
